Charlie Schneider was raised by loggers in the forests of Northern California. He holds a Master of Natural Resources degree from Oregon State University and a graduate certificate in fisheries management. Charlie currently leads CalTrout’s efforts to remove two obsolete dams in the Eel River and is also part of CalTrout’s policy team. He lives in Petaluma with his wife and two sons.
