Where is my magazine?
California Fly Fisher is a quarterly publication with Summer (July), Fall (October), Winter (January), and Spring (April) issues. Each issue mails the first week of the month. Subscription orders are processed immediately when placed online and within two days of receipt if by mail. If you subscribe after the current issue has shipped, you can purchase that issue in the CAFF shop or at your local fly shop. Otherwise, your subscription will start with the next issue.
If you do not receive your first print issue when expected, please email subs@calflyfisher.com and we’ll look into it right away.
How do I access my digital subscription?
As a paid subscriber to the print magazine, you have access to all digital content – the current issue as well as all the archived issues of the magazine we currently have online. More archived issues will be added in the coming months. Soon you’ll be able to recycle the stack of magazines you’ve been keeping in your garage!
To gain access to your digital account follow these easy steps:
- In the upper right-hand menu, click Log In.
- Enter your email address and password. If it’s your first time on the site, click Sign Up to create your account
- Click Forgot your password to have a reset password link emailed to you.
Voila! You now have access to a wealth of fly-fishing tips, destinations, and stories to inspire your next adventure on the water.
How do I update my address?
Easy. You can update your shipping address by logging in to your account right here on the site.
- In the upper right-hand menu, click Log In to log in to your account.
- If already logged in, access your profile page by clicking the icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen. There, you can update your address and other account details.
How do I update my payment methods?
Easy. You can update your payment method by logging into your account right here on the site.
- In the upper right-hand menu, click Log In and log in to your account.
- If already logged in, access your profile page by clicking the icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen. There, you can update your payment method and other account details.
- Note: To delete a card from your account, a new card must first be assigned to the subscription.
Am I subscribed?
To check the status of your account, click Log In in the upper-right-hand menu on the site and enter your username and password.
On your profile page, you will see your subscription information with the status and expiration date.
Help! I can't log into my account
If you’re having trouble logging into your account, follow these steps.
- If you haven’t logged in to the site before, click Log In in the upper right-hand corner of the site and then click Sign Up in the pop-up box. Enter your email and establish a password.
- If you are a paying subscriber and have not provided CAFF with an email address in the past, please contact us at subs@calflyfisher.com. We’ll add your email to your account which will enable you to sign up on the site.
How can I contribute to the magazine?
We welcome story, art, and photo contributions. Our readers value practical, informative, and entertaining articles about everything and anything to do with the diverse and abundant world of fly fishing in California. Where is Richard Anderson?
Richard, the founder and editor/publisher of California Fly Fisher for 31 years, stepped away from the magazine in October 2023. Shortly after, Publisher Tracey Diaz, with Editor-at-Large George Revel by her side, decided to revive and refresh the magazine and bring it into the digital space. The premiere relaunch Summer 2024 issue is somewhat of a tribute to Richard’s legacy and a recognition of the dedicated community of fly fishers he built.
