The 2025 California Trout Fish Water People Photo Contest, in collaboration with California Fly Fisher, was the most popular yet, receiving over 500 submissions.
There were countless exceptional entrees highlighting the spectacular beauty and diversity of California’s rivers and fish. The panel of judges had their work cut out for them and tough choices to make, but were up for the task. Thank you to everyone who participated by submitting a photo, voting on your favorite, and spreading the word!
These pictures remind us why it is so important that we show up every day to protect the California we love and all that it allows us to enjoy.
