Hogan has worked in all aspects of the fly fishing industry for the last 25 years. Through the many positions, he's remained in the trenches as a guide devoting most of his time to guiding for striped bass on the Sacramento River, as well as spotted and largemouth bass on Northern California’s famous lakes and reservoirs.
Hogan is a Hatch Reels Pro, Scott Fly Rods Pro, Costa Del Mar Sunglasses Ambassador, Stealth Craft Boats Pro, Rogue Jet Boat Works Pro, Airflo Fly Lines Pro and Echo Rods Pro along with being a Simms ambassador and Rio Flies contract fly tyer. Hogan is also a connoisseur of fine ales and fermented grains and is a proud Sierra Nevada Brewing Ambassador, a home gardener, a die-hard San Francisco Giants and Notre Dame football fan, member of the rock band Delial, and a husband to an amazing wife and mother as well as a father to two teenage boys.
