Craig Lynch

Craig Lynch

Craig is retired military C-130 and HU-16 Albatross pilot. He has collected bamboo fly rods, reels, and fly-fishing-related research material for 50 years.  Craig caught his first trout on a fly in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State, at age 7. After high school, he travelled to Lassen Junior College in Susanville and regularly fished the waters of Lassen National Park where he worked summers. The draft ended that career and sent him to the military where he spent the next 22 years. Postings to San Francisco, Kodiak, Alaska and other locations with great fishing were a blessing. Upon his retirement he relocated to Washington State and has hiked, fished and spent hundreds of hours collecting bamboo fly rods and related items. He still happily fishes Hat Creek and surrounding waters nearly every fall.
