Bill Barich’s books include Laughing in the Hills, A Pint of Plain, Big Dreams: Into the Heart of California, and Crazy for Rivers. He’s written about fly fishing for The New Yorker, where he was a staff writer for many years, Sports Illustrated, Outside, Anglers Journal, and other publications. A longtime Bay Area resident, he currently lives in Dublin, Ireland.
