ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of California Fly Fisher and Lost Coast Outfitters are not eligible to win.
HOW TO ENTER: During each week, eligible participants may enter by:
Instagram: (1) Follow @calflyfisher on Instagram; (2) Follow @lostcoastoutfitters on Instagram; (3) Post a photo of their fly box to their public Instagram feed or Stories; (4) Tag both @calflyfisher and @lostcoastoutfitters in the photo; (5) Tag two (2) friends in the post or caption; (6) Use the hashtag #WhatsInYourFlyBox; and (7) Include a brief written description (2-4 sentences) about their fly box setup.
Facebook: (1) Follow/Like the California Fly Fisher Facebook page; (2) Follow/Like the Lost Coast Outfitters Facebook page; (3) Post a photo of their fly box to their timeline tagging both California Fly Fisher and Lost Coast Outfitters, or post as a comment on the official campaign post; (4) Tag two (2) friends in the post or comment; and (5) Include a brief written description (2-4 sentences) about their fly box setup.
Limit one (1) entry per person per week. No purchase necessary to enter or win.
WINNER SELECTION: One winner will be selected per week (four total) by the California Fly Fisher editorial team, in its sole discretion, based on creativity, photo quality, and the accompanying description. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during that entry period.
PRIZE: Each weekly winner will receive one (1) C&F Design Dry/Dropper Fly Box, provided by Lost Coast Outfitters ($60 retail value). Prize is non-transferable and no cash substitution is permitted, except at the sole discretion of California Fly Fisher.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winners will be notified via direct message on the platform through which they entered, and announced publicly via California Fly Fisher’s and Lost Coast Outfitters’ Instagram and/or Facebook accounts. Winners must respond within five (5) business days to claim their prize, or an alternate winner may be selected.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: By entering, participants grant California Fly Fisher and Lost Coast Outfitters a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to repost, reproduce, and feature their submitted photo and accompanying text on their respective social media accounts, website, and newsletter, with credit given to the original poster. Participants represent that they own or have permission to share the submitted photo.
California Fly Fisher reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed inappropriate, offensive, or in violation of these rules, and to modify, suspend, or terminate the promotion at any time without notice.
